Freedom Physical Therapy Services, S.C. was founded in 1992 in Milwaukee's North Shore by Peter Stathas with the belief in providing the personalized touch. Michael Karegeannes later joined Peter and as partners, they established Freedom Physical Therapy Services, S.C. Michael and Peter partner not only as owners, but also in the philosophy that the emphasis should be on the patient and that one-on-one contact with each patient is of the utmost importance.
In 2002, Freedom Physical Therapy Services opened a second clinic in Grafton and followed in 2003 with a third clinic in Brookfield. A complete, independent Pilates Studio was also opened adjacent to the Fox Point clinic in 2003. In 2006 a fourth clinic was opened in Thiensville.

Freedom Physical Therapy Services has a total staff of 45, including 12 Physical Therapists, 1 Occupational Therapist, and 1 Licensed Athletic Trainer (averaging over 13 years of experience).
