The Temporomandibular joint is the most unique joint in the body. It is two joints and it is what makes your jaw move so you can open your mouth. Some of the common signs of TMJ dysfunction are:

  • Clicking or popping when opening or closing the jaw-mouth
  • Pain opening or closing the jaw-mouth or even at rest
  • Decreased ability to open the jaw
  • Neck Pain
  • Tooth sensitivity
  • Buzzing or ringing in the ears
  • Hearing loss
  • Forehead or temple headache
A physical therapy treatment plan is designed for each patient after a complete evaluation including with a physician/dentist.
